Everett Willier

Hi everyone! My name is Everett Willier and I am Cree, from Sucker Creek First Nation. I am husband to Erin and dad to Daniel, Hope, Hunter, and Elijah – they all lend me to this work. In the last few months, I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work, Specialization: Child Protection degree from Vancouver Island University, and entered a Master of Social Work program at University of Victoria. My interests lie in traditional knowledge and connecting to self through ceremony. This is my first experience in working on a project like this, so I’m equally honoured and terrified to join this team!
